Dead B r i d e by SeaFairy Dead B r i d e by SeaFairy
It was supposed to be her luckiest day.

Dead Bride...

It took me quite long to get the shot I wanted. Especially achieving that bright/dark-contrast was immensly difficult. On the screen it looked much different from the camera's screen-result, so I stil had to do slight contrast-editions but not too much. I hope you like it.

DSC-F 717|Studio|Model:Me

PS: To all those who commented on my last 3 pieces, they were all together over 400 comments and I gave up answering them all, please forgive me, I tried and did reply to some but it was impossible to reply you all. Especially thanks to those who wrote alot! I READ IT ALL!!! I just don't have the time to reply, especially concerning the "In the End you are Alone"-piece, where many people expressed their thoughts, which made me endlessly happy! Know, that I read every word of it and appreciate it endlessly! Hug to everyone!

I love the contrast. It all looks so fragile. It took a little while to get the dead feeling but it definitely is there. I love it.

Oh so pretty... The flower looks fake (but in a good sense) - It looks very fragile and weird (:p (Lick) ).
Constructive criticism now... I don't like the blurriness on one of the leaves (at the top) but I don't really have any suggestions on how to improve it - maybe you could... um :p (Lick)
Otherwise actually I think it's pretty much perfect (in my eyes)..

i do bridal series stuff - i have a thing for "dark" brides...and this a beautiful beautiful abstract example of that CERTAIN emotion that only someone that could BE a bride could truly truly feel all of IMO....the netting and the delicacy it brings, is truly gorgeous against the contrasted hand.....i love the rose petal detail still showing and the limp gorgeous fingers....

its really lovely Lilly...

There's something about that rose, it really caught my eye. As said earlier, the multiple textures really set it off, but I too am finding it difficult to percieve her as being "dead". I think this may be because of how the picture is so light.
It's beautiful though. I love it.

I love the slightly textured feel to this, just adds a bit of "age"
I get a sense of sadness to this, more so than death, Perhaps thats the whole idea. Regardless, the tones and highlights on this are perfect. I would definitely suggest a full view. The thumbnail takes away fromt he piece. I'm also liking the idea that the piece is not fully centered , gives it a more "natural" feel.
