This is an absolutely beautiful image, and instantly recognisable as your own. You have a very unique approach to black and white which is very reflective of the tones I have previously seen in some of your other Polaroid work. I enjoy the high contrast, washed out look of the image - it is very striking, but you can still see all the beautiful details in the image, like the rippled texture of the water. While the whole series is interesting, I feel that this is perhaps the strongest in terms of composition. I rated it a little lower on originality purely because a family at the beach is certainly not a new subject; however at the same time you have taken such a cliche topic and created something quite new with it in terms of style. Overall, I enjoy seeing how your experiences with instant film have begun translating digitally.
