hm.. what became of the "Viennese Houses" project? I'm not so up to date, excuse me, but was it ever fully realised or in the end still too costly?

I don't like it!
People just comment if they think the pic is good, or if they like it, and if they don't like it they don't just lose their time making a comment.

You are welcome to dislike it, to me that means alot, and also supports, that is a very "unique" technique which I personally find alot of beauty and fragility in. It has become a very personal approach, and people not liking it supprt, that its aesthitic is uncommon and needs time to be appreciated 8if at all, obviously ! )
It has become my main approach, to use very pale and contradictive portraits and still photographs of buildings, making them into anonymous monuments. Pale colores as well as pale black and whites, often dark but bleached out still with alot of detail or only framings.

So this does indeed give me alot and supports me as well, thanks for your time, and yes, there are people who voice their disliking also via mail and note, but of course not everyone, as usually disliking often means "can't do anything with it..brain blank". So it would help if you voiced what it is that makes you turn it down?

I can understand your intention with pale colours, trying to make the building more anonimous. Well, I think there are already many anonimous buildings or places or whatever thing, but in my opinion is more interesting to show other 'a little more' original or different views (of a city in this case). Something that could impress or take your attention. Something that not all the people could view or admire, not just a thing that everybody can see around the corner. But as you can see it is just a personal opinion.
I don't like the colours, the lighting, the framing. Too anonymous! Too insipid.
Well, maybe that is what you were trying to show. In this case it is perfect!

I enjoy the anonymity. It's a more personal approach, and I think it allows people to relate to the photo more. The pale black and white lends a feeling of nostalgia. It's not just some large, dominating building.
